YOGA THERAPIST / MEDITATION THERAPIST Dayananda, H.V, our Resident Yoga Teacher and Therapist has been a teacher at the Vivekenanda Yoga Centre in Bangalore for 5 years. He has been trained in Ashtanga Yoga, Asana, Pranayama and Mudra Practice and personal study of Iyengar Yoga at: - Swami Vivekenanda Yoga anusandhana samsthana, Bangalore, India, B.Sc. - The International Shivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, Kerala - Yoga Siromani and Yoga Acharia, Sri Patanjali Yogashala Mysore, India Dayananda can also offer treatments for asthma, hypertension, anxiety, depression, arthritis, back pain, neck pain, diabetes control, gastrointestinal disorders and obesity. He is practitioner of of various meditations including Candle Gazing, Breath Meditation, Healing Meditation with Dolphins, and Mind Sound Resonance Technique. Dayananda is a resident Yoga Therapist and can be consulted at your convenience during your stay at Shaanti. NUTRITIONIST When you arrive, you can make an appointment with our resident nutritionist who will advise you on the types of food that suit your body type and the type of programme you have chosen.
